About Central Region Public Health Center

Located at 5101 Market St, San Diego, CA 92114, Central Region Public Health Center operates as a medical clinic serving San Diego in California. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

Many people looking for a dentist also need a doctor, and this group lists the medical clinics, family physicians, urgent care and walk-in centers, hospitals, pediatricians, eye doctors, medical specialists and pharmacies near the dental practices on the site. Primary care in the US runs through family doctors and internists who coordinate referrals; urgent care centers handle minor injuries and illnesses without an appointment for far less than an emergency room; hospitals with emergency departments are the place for severe facial trauma or a dental infection that spreads. Pharmacies fill the antibiotics and pain medication a dentist prescribes and sell fluoride rinses and prescription-strength toothpaste.

The business lists hours on 5 days of the week. The most common schedule is 8 am–5 pm. Note that it does not open on Saturday, Sunday. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. The listed phone number is (619) 229-5400. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. Its website is sandiegocounty.gov, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

Its Google rating is 3.5 out of 5 from 10 reviews, a solid but mixed picture; reading the most recent reviews will tell you what to expect.

of artwork. It is clean as San Diego deserves every office to be and I was seen right away for my TB testing in the office on the second floor. I'm happy with the staff and workers as well as the safety and extra surveillance. The security officers were professional and looking out as they are supposed to be as well as not allowing lighters in the business for more safety. Thank you for your professionals and for a beautiful building with awesome parking and solar nearby. I love the stairs and art within the walls and on them! Very neat and fun ideas storming after seeing this!

Easy to make appointment and very kind when receiving free vaccinations

Scheduled an appointment online for the flu and Covid vaccines. Came all the way to find out they don’t currently offer those vaccines. Very disappointing how disorganized this taxpayer-funded county service is, and problematic that important information that the public relies on for their health needs is inaccurate.

They don't treat children well, and that's why kids don't want to take vaccinations.was awful

Words can not describe how absolutely pathetic this agency has become. As a lower income individual and a taxpayer in this country I have been tossed around like a beanbag from office to office to get my case moving. No lack of accountability or transparency by this corrupt organization. You the taxpayer are doing all the work and nothing seems to be going in anywhere. HowThey lose the ONLINE documents makes absolutely no sense and lack of communication between the assigned worker and applicant is completely unacceptable. In short: inept, incompetent, and incapable is the measure of this agency. People are out there trying to get the benefits they need and have rightly earned because why, PAID TAXES for said benefits and they are no where to be found. 6+ weeks of waiting and no one has been able to get in touch with me about my case. Absolutely ridiculous and shameful on their part. If you have a serious issue with your case don’t trust that the worker assigned to you cares about you or has any pep in their step to get it done. I would love nothing more than to sue this agency for their negligence

Only giving it 2 stars because the lady who first attended us was super helpful and nice. But the Second Lady with long red nails was super rude, she seemed to be having a bad day but what do we have to do with it? We didn’t give her any attitude and we weren’t rude at all. It makes you not want to come to ask for help honestly ):
